Plymouth... the name is gone, but the fun lives on.

1971 Plymouth Scamp - Phase II
Phase II was used to make the Scamp look and run decent.  Nothing was done to the interior in phase II.

These pictures were taken within two months of purchasing the car.

Sitting in the front driveway, the sun makes this car look restored or original.
Two new whitewall tires were installed to create a matched set and a white
pin stripe was added to add a little sportiness.

Again, the sunlight makes the car look nicer than it is.  You can see the
body damage at the front fender and the color difference between that
fender and the rest of the car.  This pictures model is 5-year old Jacob.

Here is the passenger side of the car, which has its share of small dents
and such.  Again, the hole in the grill is evident.  This car came with all
the original "Scamp" stickers, "Valiant" emblems, "VEight" emblems
and "Plymouth" emblems.

The rear of the car is pretty clean, no major body damage.  From here
you can see a missing "Plymouth" emblem above the "Scamp" sticker,
the ripped up condition on the back seat and the cracked wind shield.

In this phase, a 4BBL manifold and carburetor (both Holley) have been
installed.  The heater hoses are now red and a chrome air cleaner rests
on top of the carburetor.  The oil leak was sealed and the car was running
very well.  We also removed the part off the drive side exhaust manifold
that fed warm air to the original air filter assembly via a hose.
