1971 Plymouth Scamp - Phase IV - Body Shop
After waiting what seemed like 10 years, the car finally made its way into the body shop for much needed straightening and paint.

These pictures were taken in June of 2001.

First, a black vinyl top was installed prior to getting the body and paint
work done.  I am still not sure if I should of put the top on last because
all the primer and sanding got into the grain and was fairly hard to clean.
As you can see, the body was nowhere near straight, especially the
front fender.

More of the body work, this time on the passenger side.

Some work was needed on the trunk and on the valance under the bumper.

Dramatic close-up of the passenger front fender/grill corner.

In case you didn't notice, the entire door is white.  That's because the car
was involved in an accident about 6 months prior that destroyed the original
door.  This door is from a 72 Dart and only cost $20.   What a deal.
